Korean Skincare for Sensitive Skin Since 1966

1966

IT STARTED WITH SKIN.

In 1966, the story behind CHARMZONE began with Pibo Pharmacy in Korea—a specialized pharmacy focused on skin concerns. For nearly two decades, that hands-on experience built a deep understanding of skin before CHARMZONE's cosmetics journey officially began. In 1984, Buhan Cosmetics—the original name of CHARMZONE—was established, bringing years of accumulated skincare expertise into a new generation of Korean beauty products.

1984

THEN WE HELPED SHAPE K-BEAUTY.

In 1984, CHARMZONE's first cosmetic products entered the market. What followed was a series of Korean beauty milestones: the company introduced Korea's first water-based facial cleanser in 1988, became the first Korean cosmetics company to obtain a sales license from Japan's Ministry of Health and Welfare in 1992, and officially became CHARMZONE Co., Ltd. in 1993. Control Cream would go on to become one of the brand's defining innovations, ranking No. 1 in its category in Korea for two consecutive years.

TODAY

NOW, AMERICA GETS TO DISCOVER IT.

Nearly four decades after CHARMZONE's first cosmetics launched, the philosophy remains remarkably simple: if it's not different, we don't make it. Today, generations of accumulated know-how meet modern formulas across cleansing, hydration, soothing, firming and barrier-focused skincare. Behind the brand are 35 product patents, decades of in-house R&D and products that have reached millions of customers—including more than 20.5 million Control Cream units sold cumulatively by 2016. Now, CHARMZONE is bringing that Korean skincare legacy forward for a new generation.
