This control cream works almost like a mask. You are to put it on after you've cleansed and dried your face, massage your face with the cream for about 1 minute then rinse it off. The cream leaves a soft feeling on the skin and keep it hydrated. It's an extra step to clean the skin and make the skin feeling refresh and brighten. The cream has a creamy consistency and with light fresh scent. I'm not entirely sure how it exfoliates but it doesn't have the usual micro beads in the cream. However, it does make my skin feeling extra skin without drying out. It's a good price for the quality of the cleanser so I think it's a good value. I'm happy with it.

This control cream is filled with plenty of nutrients and hydration for skin. It is much thicker than I was anticipating, so it does take effort to get it to soak into skin before rinsing, but it does make for a great opportunity for a massage. It feels soothing to apply. Personally, I don’t get the exfoliating claims as I have not experienced any dead skin falling off as I apply it nor does it have any particles typically associated with exfoliation, but that is just from my time using this cream. This is a good moisturizer to revitalize skin and have an opportunity to take a moment to relax as it works like a charm.

This exfoliating massage cream works great on smoothing and exfoliating skin on my body. I have not used it on my face, as I try to avoid using 2-in-1 products on my face. It's weird I remember seeing videos on this a long time ago, and I guess it recently became available in our area (it originates in Korea). I really have not used a product like this before, so I followed the instructions. It stated to apply it to dry skin (a 'generous amount), then after 2-3 minutes massage it for a 1 or 2 minutes then wash off with water. It seems to act as a pseudo filming/massage/cleansing product. I can say it does feel like it exfoliates. It definitely leaves behind a stickiness to it, but I suspect that's by design. Once you completely clean with water it does leave your skin feeling quite clean. I'm surprised that it also moisturizes a bit - even though it doesn't state that. However that could be a bit placebo. It's interesting, it's almost like a mini-facial. As far as scent, I didn't pick up anything obvious to my nose. There might be a slight one but its hard to tell - so I don't think it has much of a smell. It comes in a small squeeze bottle, one that you could easily keep with you in a travel bag. I really do like this product a lot, and I can see why so many are found of it. It's a fantastic product, using quality ingredients and offers awesome value.

The directions say to apply it, massage, and rinse it off, but here’s the real hack. Finally, a CHARMZONE item that I can use because it isn't overwhelmingly perfumed! While the listing says it is unscented, I do still smell a bit of a fragrance but I have a very sensitive nose. It's nowhere near the perfumed hell that many other CHARMZONE items are, so I consider that to be a huge win, and I hope they will soon change their other products to be less perfumed. Anyway, this has a nice lineup of ingredients in it that are decently good for skin. This is kind of weird to use and I'm a bit afraid to try it on my face because my skin is so sensitive to things like this, so I have been working my way up to it with patch testing it. So far, I have not encountered any issues with it on my arms, hands, or neck which is very promising! It can be a little bit inconvenient to use because you have to wash first and then apply/rub it in and wait for a few minutes (I've tried the recommended 3 mins for my legs and hands but only 1-2 mins for my neck). After a bit of time, it kind of changes texture and feels oily and you then massage it in and gross little bits of skin goop or product build up ball up. After that, you rinse it off and skin feels great. This is easier to do on your face but a bit awkward on your body as you get in the shower, get out apply/wait, and then have to get back in...so you have to plan for it and expect to awkwardly wait a few minutes before you can continue haha. However, when you do use it, skin feels smooth, soft, and it really absorbs product much better because anything blocking proper absorption is out of the way. This means that skincare seems to be more effective when using this. You get quite a lot of this in the tube. If only using it on the face and neck, it'll last a really long time, making it a great value! It'll go a bit faster with occasional use on the body, but I still think it's a good value for how well it seems to work. I am going to try it on a section of my face that is less sensitive (my forehead) in a few days - if I have a bad reaction, I will update this review accordingly.

Unique Cleansing Mask / Cream That Really Works
This Control Cream by Charmzone has achieved and maintained cult status for decades in Korea, and it is such a treat to finally be able to purchase it here in the US! It works a bit like a traditional cold cream, only better: you apply it to dry, clean skin (it will not work properly if your skin is damp!), leave it for 5-10 minutes or until it transforms from white to close to transparent, then massage it gently until it starts to ball up and pull impurities and dead skin cells from your pores. You can then rinse it off and call it good, but I have found that I don't particularly care for the oily film or residue/stickiness left behind at this point and tend to follow it with another cleanser for a proper double cleanse. Left on longer it also works as a cleansing mask, and it can be used to exfoliate areas other than your face, as well. I find that it moisturises exceptionally well and hydrates my skin for an extended period of time. Negatives? I would not recommend this as a product to remove cosmetics, or even as a daily cleanser. For me, this shines as a weekly treatment to deep cleanse my pores, rather than anything else. It's worth noting that it will burn if it gets in your eyes and can temporarily make your vision go a bit wonky. The texture is quite thick, so it's fairly easy to apply it only where you want it, though. I love this product so very much and am excited to add it to my weekly skincare routine. Highly recommended!

I didn't know what to make of this product when the first ingredient is mineral oil. That being said, I use Aquaphor and Vaseline religiously on my lips, so why not my face. This product is really interesting and I had to watch a few videos to really ensure I was using it correctly. I seems it goes from a cream to a clear emollient after a couple of minutes and then you massage your face for another minute and then simply rinse it off with water. It has some botanical exfoliants (I believe this is the pomegranate extract) but it has some other amazing ingredient as well. I definitely found it sloughing off some of the dry skin patches on my face and it leaves my skin feeling supple and moisturized. I wasn't sure, however, if that moisture would create a barrier for the remainder of my skin care routine or not, but supposedly it actually preps your skin for better absorption. I'm not sure, but I'm trying to use this 2-3 times per week and I really like the results. I think this may be a great tool for winter when my skin can really suffer from dryness in a cold climate. When I see these beautiful Korean moms and grandmoms on TikTok with gorgeous skin claiming they've been using this for 30 years, I have to believe it's doing something great.

This is a really different product and it REALLY works well! I am sort of amazed with this stuff, if you have super dry skin like I do in the colder months, you need this product. This product arrives without much in the way of real instructions for its use, its sort of a mystery if you are not a previous user of it. What little instructions are printed on the box and tube are pretty unclear. For best use: after washing and drying your face but before applying moisturizer/serum, you apply a thin layer of this cream to your face. Thicker applications do not work as well. You wait about 5 minutes until the opaque white cream turns completely clear then you massage the cream into your skin. After a period of massaging, wash it off and continue with your skincare regimen. This product does an honestly incredible job of removing impurities from the skin like blackheads and flakes of dry skin while really, deeply hydrating and moisturizing. Its actually amazing. I really was not expecting much from this product at first, but I am incredibly pleased with it. After only a singular use, my flaky, red, dry, irritated skin looked so much clearer and more healthy. This is an exfoliating lotion that’s designed to get rid of all your dent skin cells and eliminate clogged pores without any kind of rough scrubbing. It’s also great that you don’t have to rinse afterwards. My mom asked me to buy this for while back her when her skin was very dry no matter what skincare she used. And then I forgot about it. My skin became extremely dry and flaky and was very annoyed because of this. Then I remembered that my mom used this to tend her dry skin. So I got one for myself and tested it out. Boy I'm glad I did! I also have acne prone skin so I was kind of worried that it would make me break out. But it did not thank goodness! I've always hated using scrubs on my face because they just feel so harsh on the skin. This one is definitely gentle on the skin since its a cream! I researched online how other people use it this was the best method I found: 1. Put the cream on a clean dry face. (Don't put too much of a thick layer.) 2. Wait for 10 mins until the white creams turns transparent like an oil. The instruction that comes with the product says to wait for about 3 mins but I find letting it sit a bit longer makes it easy to massage and gets your dead skins cells off more easily. 3. After 10 mins, gently massage for about a minute or so. 4. Wash off the cream after massaging with luke warm water and a gentle cleanser. I like to wash it off with water and cleanser because I have acne prone skin. If you have extremely dry skin, you may not have to use a a cleanser and washing it with just water may suffice. After cleansing my face, the Control Cream leaves my skin feels supple and fresh! I love to follow it up with my regular skincare afterwards. I totally recommend 👌
