Easy to apply calming serum!
I've used a bunch of Charmzone products and haven't really been disappointed yet. They try to make their bottles at least somewhat interesting, and I like this one's cute shape and coloring. Having a nice looking display for your skincare is important! Especially at this price point, where it's more than stuff in a store but not crazy expensive. A little does go a long way though, so this will last you a good while. This stuff comes in a nice little pump that is easily controlled so you don't use too much and waste the serum. You don't need much either, this is good stuff. My wife and I both tried it out, and neither of us had a poor reaction to it. It should be good for those with sensitive skin! It's a great layer before moisturizing cream, it feels nice and cool and doesn't have much of a scent.

This is a very good quality calming serum. The texture is lightweight and easy to apply to the face. It absorbs quickly into the skin and does not feel oily or sticky. Very potent and effacious calming serum - skincare secret weapon!
Charmzone's calming serum is absolutely great. I wanted to mention that it is very potent, and a little goes a long way! The recommendation is that you use it after applying lotion and so it makes for an effortless step in everyday skincare maintenance should you need to use it. Personally, I've got areas around my nose and eyes that sometimes can get a little splotchy if I've had maybe too much sun or been in an arid climate for too long, and this calming serum immediately helps with those problem areas. At this price point, I'm finding that Charmzone's serum is absolutely top tier when it comes to affordability as it offers a great segue into the more advanced type of Korean skincare telemetry, a great addition to the repertoire. Lovely serum, no serum feel on my skin
I love the Charmzone products and this one did not disappoint me at all! The Ginko calming serum, first and foremost, did not leave a serum feel to my skin after applying it. It has a very pretty light scent that reminds me of spring. It is a clear gel type and I use 3 and sometimes 4 pumps to cover my face and neck from the nice sized glass bottle. It is nicely packaged and I feel like this is a quality product at a very reasonable price. A bit drying on my "mature" skin
I don't know why I bother with "mature" -- time to face the fact that I'm old. Anyway, while I did like the way CHARMZONE Ginkgo Calming in Serum soothed my skin, I found it a bit too drying to use regularly. That said, my skin is an absolute sponge in need of moisture so it may be a better fit for those with an oilier (and, perhaps, more "youthful") complexion. Like many Charmzone products, this one has a significant scent profile -- I'd classify it as "sweet" and you can definitely smell a bit of alcohol. If you're picky about smells, be aware that this is definitely not unscented. Love the pump applicator and the bottle style. Charmzone appears to be upping their game a bit!

Calming feeling on skin, not tacky, lovely scent.
First off, I love the bottle and the pump. It is the perfect amount of serum, and the color is so lovely. For a bit of background: my skin is combination, and in the summer I have a slightly shiny forehead sometimes. I also get a bit of hormonal acne around my chin. I have some freckles and dark spots from aging, and also some faint wrinkles around my eyes, and neck. There is no added fragrance and the lovely ingredients are what are detectable, light sandalwood, some vanilla—naturally scented and very light, not detectable on your face. The active ingredients of gingko blob, bifida ferment, and aloe vera leaf extract do wonders for skin and help to calm, soothe, and moisturize. The texture is a lightweight gel and it easily massages and absorbs into the skin. Used after cleansing and toning, before other skincare, this fits easily into my routine. No pilling, no tackiness, no irritation on my skin. It goes on easily, feels cooling and soothing on application, absorbs and it makes it easy to apply the next layer. Good overall, too much alcohol
I like this serum and am using it to replace a similar product for barrier, but that one lacks alcohol. That’s my major beef with this one, the alcohol isn’t great on my skin and products that have it this high on their ingredient list tend to lose any moisturizing effect on my skin. While this does say it’s hydrating, if your skin tends towards dry you might have a sort of tightening feeling after use and will want to quickly follow with a heavier moisturizer. They do buffer the alcohol with plenty of humectants. This is a serum that is nearly clear in color. The scent is great, with botanical and fruity scents that hit a little strong right off but fade quickly. This does leave my hands a little sticky, but a quick rinse is enough to take care of it. The bottle is cute and comes with a protective pump cover. That tends to pull the top of the pump off when I remove it, so I’ve just been leaving it off. Only worth noting if you plan to travel with this. Besides that, it seems to do well on my skin overall, particularly when it comes to barrier. I have rosacea and tend to get redness and occasional irritation, which I can now usually keep calm using the right products. The ingredients are overall good, not including the alcohol. Lots of barrier ingredients and plenty to smooth redness. They also include silicones for texture, Cyclomethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone, and Dimethicone. These have a blurring effect and can help lock in moisture, but can be bothersome to some skin types. Overall, I’d say this is pretty good. I’m going with a four. While I’m disappointed in the alcohol, it’s overall pretty good. I do think they should remove the hype about moisturizing, as it may go deep but the alcohol can cause tightness and make some with dry skin need heavier moisturizers to counteract that effect.

I absolutely love Charmzone’s products, I have been using a starter/travel set of their serums that I received recently and I have loved all of the included items. So I was super excited to receive this full size version of their gingko serum as well. This product is a very light, non-oily, clear serum that dries down fairly rapidly. It provides a light amount of moisture but it also really calms down red, irritated skin extremely well. I have super dry, easily irritated skin naturally and it tends to get dry enough to be flaky and red quite a lot. So I have been using this serum on a consistent basis for quite some time to calm and maintain this, it works great! It seems to be very anti-inflammatory as well, settling down puffiness and swelling quickly. One thing that I absolutely love about this line is the bottle design. These are glass bottles with a frosted sort of finish to them. They look adorable lined up on my vanity. While I don't see added fragrance in the ingredient list on the box, there is as a light floral scent that is fresh and pleasant. Good but pore clogging for myself
While it is hydrating with a nice subtle smell it did overtime clogged my pores which most face products do unfortunately so if you're prone to that or white heads I'd avoid if not and you need extra moisture and like a barrier on your skin this would be great for you. I jump at trying products with aloe vera in them, so this one was an easy "yes!" for me. I haven't tried ginkgo in skin care products before so it is nice to see. I thought this was just okay, it does seem to be well made and the light formula does soak into my skin nicely. It does leave a nice sheen and lasts a fair amount of time after you apply it. My main issues are that it doesn't leave my skin feeling like it was properly hydrated compared to other product's I've used. It does also seem to clog my pores more than other products do. I did feel a nice calming sensation, but also a bit of irritation, so that was odd. From now on I will only use this on days where my face is very irritated through extreme dry or windy winter weather.
