I like that this serum is suitable for dry and sensitive skin that needs serious hydration. It has a lightweight texture but it still leaves my skin feeling soft and plump. Nice thick serum but not as moisturizing as expected
As the name of this product is Double Moisture Serum, I was expecting this hybrid oil-serum to be a lot more moisturizing than it really is. As someone who uses face oil daily (alternating between rosehip seed and safflower oil), I know how moisturizing oils can be. But to my disappointment, this product really doesn't feel moisturizing. I mean, it's not drying, but it doesn't live up to its name. That said, this product appears to be a reasonable serum. It's a lot thicker than I expected, but looking at the ingredients list, I know why. The first ingredient is glycerin. That explains why it's not even the least of money, like mini serum products. The first half of the ingredients look to be artificial, with some of the more natural ingredients listed on the second half, i.e., sunflower oil, vitamin E, jojoba oil. So here's the deal: if you're not used to using face oils, this may feel a bit thick or oily on your face. In that case, you might not want to moisturize afterwards. But if you're already accustomed to face oils, this oil does not feel greasy, but just a bit tacky in the beginning, like many serums; and you would probably want to layer it with a real moisturizer. I haven't used this product long enough to attest to its efficacy. However, based on ingredients, it does appear to be nourishing to the skin. Ok priced, beautifully packaged, reasonable ingredients.

I'm always a bit of a doubter about claims of "deeply moisturizing" or "extreme hydration" but Charmzone Double Moisture Oil-in-Serum Plus actually fits the bill! My aging skin is just begging for moisture and this jelly-like serum just soaked right in leaving behind a soft, dewy surface. This product would probably be way too much for younger, more balanced skin types but for those of us who are heading (or deeply intrenched within) the mature category, it's a real gem. This serum is great for giving you face a dewy glow. It has an oily texture when first applied but settles into the akin and leaves just a slight sheen. This serum has a light refreshing scent and a thick texture. A small amount goes a long way and does a good job of locking in moisture and other products. I used it under makeup and my skin looked more glowy than usual. I did not find it to be too oily an did not seem like it clogged my pores. This is an unusual texture and that is not good to use under make up, it makes anything added on top impossible to blend nicely-- but by itself, as a moisturizing boost, this is great. It might work okay on top of your make up but I like this more by itself. For seasonal skin dryness this is really nice. It feels like it sits on your skin for a while, but without being as greasy as I expected. I really like the bottle with the pump, it dispenses easily and I always prefer a pump to a dropper style serum. There is a fragrance but doesn't seem to irritate my skin. A great part of a night skin routine, but it does leave a bit of a sheen on your skin for a while so maybe not ideal for daytime wear.

Ingredients are amazing!
i was really impressed with this Double Moisture Oil-in-Serum product that contains the ingredients of Primrose Oil, Jojo Oil and Camellia Oil. I have used Camellia Oil for my face and body in the past, and it is a wonderful oil that absorbs quickly and it contains Oliec Acid and Linoleid Acid that provides deep hydration to skin and also rejuvenates the skin to give it a healthy and vibrant appearance. The Primrose Oil moisturizes the skin and Jojoa Oil provides elasticity to skin that helps skin look younger. These are a combination of plant-based oils that are great for sensitive and also mature skin. This product can be used for day and night applications. When I apply this product, it gives the appearance of a primer. My skin looks smooth and almost like glass, and it minimizes imperfections. When I apply it after my moisturizer in the morning and follow up with foundation, it provides a nice glow that lasts all day. Very happy that I got a chance to try this product and highly recommend it.

The CHARMZONE Double Moisture Oil-in-Serum Plus is a very moisturizing serum and it is thick so a little goes a long way. Boasting evening primrose oil, which is amazing for dry skin by the way, it is great for sensitive skin too. The serum has a couple of other active oils like jojoba and camellia, which are both used commonly in skincare and hair care use for the moisturizing and quick to absorb properties. Since this serum has oil, hence the name, this serum could be used as all all in one and replace the need for a separate moisturizer or used in the last step in your skincare in the pm or before sunscreen in the am. The oils in this serum serve to ‘lock in’ the previous layers of goodness of your skincare. While it will feel like this sits and stays on the top of your skin, in a sense it is and that is why you only need 1 pump for your whole face. Used sparingly and properly, this oil in serum serves to hydrate and moisturize while making sure your skin is not losing hydration by evaporation. This is also why if you use water based lotions, your skin feels dried out soon after…the water will evaporate from your skin without something heavier and occlusive to create a barrier to keep that moisture in. The serum comes in a lovely glass bottle with a pump that distributes just what you need in one pump-remember less is best. At $22, at time of review, this is a great price for just under 2 oz. It has no added fragrance or colors added and the bottle feels sturdy and substantial in the hand.

Nice Oil, Lightly Scented
I've tested several (Korean brand) Charmzone products now, and they're kinda hit or miss for me. Mostly due to added fragrance. But, this one was light enough and citrusy, so it hasn't triggered any headaches yet. I was interested in this cos I have dry and sensitive skin and I love oil. A "oil-in-serum?" Never heard of such a thing, and I've tried it all at this point. IT's nice! It's def more of an oil-which I am thankful for, as it did hydrate, without irritating, my sensitive skin. I did find that I experienced some pilling when used with certain products. So, I'm gonna have to figure out the best way to use it, and which products to pair it with, to continue use. I really love the oil-on-serum you can use on your face to give it a power boost of hydration. I am so glad to find this oil serum by Charmzone! First, I used 3 pumps to cover my face. You can feel the oil in it, but it does not leave your face feeling or looking greasy which is amazing. This is super hydrating and makes my race feel so soft and smooth. I love using face oil but it can be hard to use and this formulation makes it so much easier to apply. This has a very light fresh almost citrus scent to it that is lovely. You can barely smell it but I am glad there is a pretty light scent to it. It blends well with all the other skin care products and my face feels so soft with this added to my skin routine. Super moisturizing
This moisturizing oil is very moisturizing. This comes is a super cute bottle, it even has a little cap to prevent it from pumping by accident in a bag. This does have a scent initially, but it doesn’t stay in the skin - I don’t smell it when wearing after I apply it. For reference, I have “mature” skin as a middle aged woman. The consistency is pretty thick jelly, it is yellow. It is super moisturizing and pretty oily, I feel my skin just drinking it in. A drawback for me is that it stays a little tacky and sticky for a long time after applying (like at least 2 hours). This might be a helpful feature as a makeup primer, but I don’t wear face foundation so I can’t speak to that, it worked fine with an under eye concealer stick. If you like a super moisturizer that stays a little tacky, the this is definitely worth the price. I do really like how moisturizing it is.

First time trying this brand and I was pleasantly surprised. This serum felt great on my skins and instantly felt moisturized. It wasn’t overly oily but it left a slight greasy feel to my face which I didn’t really like but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. There was a slight scent but it didn’t bother me at all. It didn’t really absorb into my skin like I had hoped but it left my face looking like glass skin which was nice to see. Nice oil for deep hydration
I have another one of CHARMZONE's moisturizer products and I absolutely love it. I was very excited to try this Double Moisture Oil-in Serum Plus - Deep Hydration oil knowing how much I love the other products they make. This oil comes in a beautiful glass bottle that is a nice generous size and looks and feels very high end. This is an oil that is very moisturizing and leaves a bit of a sheen on my skin that I notice. My skin absorbs fairly well, and it leaves my skin feeling very nourished, soft, moist and hydrated, however, like I mentioned before there is a sheen look that isn’t really oily, but it doesn’t feel like it is totally absorbed either. My skin also feels velvet smooth without a super oily feeling. I have chosen to use it mostly at night for added moisture and nourishment.

Fun texture, less oily than oil
I wasn’t sure what to expect from a product called Oil-in-serum but I guess this is close to what I was expecting. It feels slightly cool going on, as if it’s a serum, but feels like an oil on your skin. It’s not as “oily” as an oil though, it feels slightly more viscous. I will say it’s more pleasant to wear than I’d hoped and has felt more moisturizing than greasy. So far it’s worked with the serums and products I’ve used it with but I have a feeling it won’t mix well with everything…it will take more experimenting. A little goes a long way so I just need one pump. I’ve been using it on the backs of my hands and I really like it for that too. The negative I’ve found is this has a perfume scent and I’d prefer it was unscented. It’s not really strong but being on your face and near your nose it can seem heavy for about 20-30 minutes. Charmzone does like to put fragrance in their products though, everything I’ve tried from them has scent added. It’s a unique serum and fun to try. This would be better for my combination skin in the winter and I’d say best for dry skin but worth a try for combination skin. The ingredients are printed in white on yellow and I can’t read them so I really have no idea what’s in this serum. UPDATE: I did try it over my gel moisturizer (Medicube capsule cream) and it doesn’t seem to mix well with that so this definitely needs to be paired with the right products.

I ordered this product because I've ordered from this brand before and been quite happy with the quality. This product is equally good. Evening Primrose Oil was a new ingredient to me so I had to research it. It's a powerful emollient that strengthens the skin barrier and improves the elasticity. It's rich in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an omega-6 fatty acid that helps reduce inflammation and lock in moisture. It calms irritation associated with eczema, rosacea or acne. It hydrates deeply by preventing trans epidermal water loss. It can smooth texture and soften the appearance of fine lines. I love that it comes in a glass bottle and that has a pump dispenser so the contents stay sanitary since I'm not putting my finger inside container. The product is quite thick, almost like petroleum jelly. It stayed put when I placed a dollop on my skin. But I was able to rub it in easily. There's a slight pleasant fragrance that's almost like a cross between floral and lemon. My skin stayed sticky for a few minutes until the product was absorbed. But it might work for others, so here's how I ended up using this Double Moisture Oil-In Serum. ✅ GLASS BOTTLE WITH PUMP, KEPT CLEAN WITH A TAMPER EVIDENT PRODUCT BOX I'm so impressed with how this arrives in perfect shape. I don't have to worry about anyone sampling this along the way, and the bottle is nicely protected so I don't feel I have to clean it to put it in my bathroom. I did find the pump to be a little finicky and sometimes wouldn't dispense product evenly. ✅ THIS SITS ON TOP OF MY SKIN I notice right away that this doesn’t absorb well for me. It feels like it hangs out on the surface and never really settles in. I get a light slickness that stays there instead of sinking in. ✅ IT DOESN’T LAYER WELL UNDER MAKEUP OR SUNSCREEN FOR ME This pills on me every time I try to put anything on top of it. Despite being an oil, I wasn't sure what to expect because I've used some oils that absorb into the skin without issue. Unfortunately for me, this particular oil is not one of those that does. I find that it sits on my skin, leaving an unpleasant sheen and seems to cause my already oily skin to feel more oily. As such, this oil/serum isn't a good fit for my skin needs, but there is nothing inherently wrong with the product. Not everything works for everyone and that's okay.

...This serum feels fantastic going on and a little, tiny bit goes a long way. I've been using daily for about 3 weeks and it leaves my skin feeling very moisturized. Just a small drop of this packs a lot of oil. It seems to be unscented. I don't know the ingredients because I have yet to bring out my magnifying glass to read the tiny white print on the bright yellow background, but I love South Korean beauty brands. This CHARMZONE Double Moisture Oil comes in a great little dispenser that allows full control on how much you are using. It reminds me of a very thick serum in consistency, not like a lotion. When I first applied it I was worried it would feel greasy, so I gave it a good rub and waited. Sure enough within a couple of minutes the oil was fully absorbed and making my skin feel soft and supple. The effect remained for most of the day where applied. The scent is kind of citrusy and very mild. This definitely performs better than my typical lotion from the grocery store aisle and I think even though the bottle is small the contents will last a long time. Enthusiastically recommend.

I’ve never seen this before, but this serum is so emollient and has such a great texture that I’m blown away. This small glass bottle of skin hydration oil contains a yellowish thick serum that comes out the pump top in small amounts, but a tiny bit at a time is all you need. I tried this first on half my face and at first it felt warm going on, but then after a few minutes both sides felt the same. The side with this serum on it had smooth and hydrated skin. If you have sensitive skin too then you should test it on a small area to see if you are sensitive to it. Although I have sensitive skin, it didn't cause an irritation. I typically do not like oil in my skincare products but this one doesn't feel too heavy or greasy. It's actually pretty lightweight even though it's oil based though it does leave a glossy sheen on my skin when I first apply it. I am not a huge fan of this recent glass skin trend but this serum feels really nice on my skin and hydrates it well. The serum is scented.

Charmzone Double Moisture Oil in Serum comes in a beautiful bottle, that fits nicely in your hand. It has a pump dispenser, and comes with a cap to slip over the pump to keep it clean and free from pumping when you don't want it too. This is fairly thick when you dispense it, but turns oily when you rub it in. It takes a bit to get it to absorb. It remains a bit tacky on the skin until it totally dries This is quite highly scented. I like the product, but the scent is too strong for me.

Feels a little greasy at first

This oil is the consistency of petroleum jelly and it comes out in a tiny ribbon and it doesn't take much. I tried it on my arm first and it felt a little sticky and greasy. I waited for it to absorb and it didn't, so I rubbed it in further and that did the trick. The place on my arm that I rubbed it in feels very silky and smooth now. I hope I get the same results on my face. It smells familiar but I can't place it. The scent is clean, faint, and appealing.
