I am giving this 5 stars, because I believe for the right skin type it would be. It would be best for dry skin, probably in the winter. I do have dry-ish skin in the winter, but now that we are in warmer weather, and my face is healed from the harsh cold, it is far more combination/oily in the t-zone. As a result, I think this just wasn't the right fit for me. It looked a bit shiny on my skin, and it felt like just a little bit too much for me. I also felt like the scent was also a little too rose for me as well. I'll try it again next winter to see if it works better for me then.

This is an unusual texture and that is not good to use under make up (at least not as a base layer), it makes anything added on top impossible to blend nicely-- but by itself, as a moisturizing boost, this is great. It might work okay on top of your make up but I like this more by itself. For seasonal skin dryness this is really nice. It feels like it sits on your skin for a while, but without being as greasy as I expected. I really like the bottle with the pump, it dispenses easily and I always prefer a pump to a dropper style serum. There is a fragrance but doesn't seem to irritate my skin. A great part of a night skin routine, but it does leave a bit of a sheen on your skin for a while so maybe not ideal for daytime wear. It seems like a hydrating toner underneath might solve this problem, so I will try experimenting a bit more.

To get it out of the way, like most CHARMZONE products, it's very floral scented. Too much in my opinion, for something that goes on your face. With that said, it does work decently enough as a hydrator. I first tried it on after washing and toning my face, but before my moisturizer. I think I like the second option better of using a light moisturizer, then this on top to kind of seal it all in. Especially on days when my skin feels drier.

I ordered this because it contains hyaluronic acid which I've used in the past with great results. Bulgarian Damask Rose oil is a new ingredient to me. I discovered that it acts as a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant that helps soothe redness, refine skin texture, and lock in moisture to calm sensitive skin and support a more even youthful complexion. There is a very slight scent of rose directly from the bottle, but it's not discernible once the oil has been applied to my skin. The Anti-Wrinkle Pink Oil In Serum is a thicker consistency serum that has a fresh light rose sent. It is very moisturizing to the skin, and absorbs well without leaving a tacky finish. This one is an excellent serum of thickish consistency, more or less transparent, having amazing Damask Rose aroma as well as nourishing benefits from this botanical. It's on the oily side - but NOT greasy, so it's a very comfortable wear. It thoroughly nourishes your skin. The Detail Page has a picture with all the ingredients - so it's easy to see, you don't have to read it on the package (which is usually a struggle with tiny lettering). There are never any Parabens or anything artificial with this brand - I have used it before and love it. The built-in pump is very easy to use - no dipping your fingers and no contamination. I like my moisturizers to have little to no scent. Since I put them on my face at night, it can be distracting and make it difficult to sleep sometimes. I'm sure it is very effective, but I could not get past the scent. It is not offensive, but I just don't like it. It goes on oily, obviously, but remains sticky on my face. I tend to get dry skin and I tend to lean towards eczema on my face that appears as little dry flaking patches so this oil really helps with how that looks so its not as flakey and it didnt burn or anything like some lotions do.

This product has a nice light rose scent. It is a bit thicker but absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling softer. Hasn't caused additional breakouts, added to my night routine
I'm always a little hesitant to add oil-based stuff to my skincare routine because even though I'm into my 30s, my oily skin is still very acne-prone. However, in the last few days that I've been testing this serum out, I haven't had any more breakouts that usual. Other serums I've used have been far more liquid-y than this serum, which is more of a gel. I might be applying too much of this serum at once, but I do find that it takes a while for it to fully absorb into my skin and while it is still in the process of being absorbed, my skin is a little shiny and greasy to the touch. I don't feel the need to use a moisturizer after applying this serum because my skin is quite soft and hydrated once it is fully soaked into my skin. Because of this, I've decided to leave it as a the last step of my night routine so that there's plenty of time for it to soak in and unlike if I were to use this in the morning, I don't have to worry about going out with a shiny face while it's still being absorbed. The bottle is made of a nice, thick glass and I like the little cap that covers the pump. My nose is a faulty one, it often can't pick up scents, but I could smell the rose in this serum as I was applying it, which was very nice. Recommended!

The glass tear drop shaped bottle is a frosted pink with a silver collar and white pump. It looks great on my vanity. The serum is clear and very thick. There is a strong rose scent that persisted for hours after use. It is not an artificial, chemically scent but it is strong to those of us with sensitive noses. Once applied the serum takes a bit to absorb in. The finish is oily but not sticky or tacky. My face feels plumper and more moisturized even hours after use but also oilier. I would have concerns about using this in warmer, humid climates unless I had super dry skin. As for now in the depts of winter, my combination skin is mostly happy with this serum.

This is a thicker serum, great for the winter time. The scent is floral, but not overwhelming. It absorbs well, but leaves a feeling of a thin layer. I noticed that my skin seems plumper for a few hours after using it. I would be careful during hotter season or if you have oily skin, as this is a thicker serum. it's been very cold where I am, so I've had issues with my heat drying out my skin, and this really helped it recover. I like the rosy forward floral scent of this skin care product. This goes on as a moist gel that feel a bit greasy at first, but eventually soaks in. It is moderately moisturizing and depending on your skin type you may not need a separate moisturizer. I have fairly sensitive skin that's on the dryer side and this gel did not irritate my skin in the least. I like it enough to continue to use it on a daily basis. I don't think that this would be a good choice for oiler skin or anyone who has breakout issues as there are several different kind of oils in the ingredients list. One thing to be aware of that the pump does not lock so it isn't travel friendly. If you plan on traveling with it, you'll want to save the plastic clip from the packaging. This gel is made in Korea.

You can really feel the oil
This serum is incredibly thick and when applying you can really feel the oil. You absolutely must pat this into your skin it’s too thick to rub. It’s also a little greasy for my taste, but I put it on before bed and after waking up it was more or less soaked fully into my skin. It’s a little didn’t make me super greasy but I naturally have pretty greasy skin so I don’t feel the need to add more. Definitely very nourishing either way. The smell is very clean and clinical.
